The Narrow Lake Conservation Center saw the Youth Camp take place after a two year hiatus. An anxious group of youth finally had the chance to enjoy all that the program provides.
These camps provide a safe environment in which we teach students, ages 12-17, the fundamentals of ethical hunting and fishing, proper usage, storage and handling of firearms, outdoor safety and survival skills on land and water. Students learn how to be part of a team through classes, leadership and teamwork.

Thanks to many generous clubs in Alberta Fish and Game Associations Zone Four and Five, which includes The St. Paul Fish and Game Association, the NLCC was able to have three new cabins constructed. A big thank you to Gord Smereka of GS Construction and his crew for getting the cabins built.                                                                                                                                                                 The youth who were sponsored for the 2022 camps, along with their parents, were in attendance at the St. Paul Fish and Game meeting at the gun range on September 7th. It was a great opportunity to get a first hand idea as to how much this program means, as each participant gave a detailed report as to what some of their highlights were.  Great job by all the participants with their presentations and thank you for the great support we received from their parents.
